How to make Wolffia globosa B12 boosters
This is a quick recipe to assemble.
- Gather and measure out all your ingredients.
- Lightly toast the walnuts, cashew, and pumpkin seeds in a dry frying pan or in the oven - allow to cool.
- Remove the stone from the dates.
- Melt and cool the coconut oil.
- Add the dates, goji, walnuts, cashew, pumpkin seeds, cooled coconut oil, Wolffia powder, and orange zest to a blender.
- Lightly pulse the mix until everything comes together - allow for some texture, and do not over-blend.
- Transfer the mix to a large mixing bowl.

Substitutions
Wolffia globosa is still a rare ingredient to source. If unavailable, you can substitute dried spirulina, chlorella, kale, wheatgrass, or matcha powders in place of Wolffia. The nutritional profile will not be the same, but they will still taste good!
If you are avoiding dates, cashews, or walnuts for whatever reason, you can substitute other nuts or dried fruits.
- Almonds, pecans, and pistachio are other nuts that will work well with this recipe.
- Raisins, apricots, or cranberries would work well in place of dates.
Recipe variations
Roll the Wolffia B12 Booster balls into whatever size balls you prefer. You can also shape them into bars.
Try rolling them in ground pumpkin seeds as an alternative to desiccated coconut.
How to store
You can store these Wolffia booster balls in the fridge for up to 10 days and in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Store in an airtight container for maximum freshness.
