Health benefits of Ayurvedic turmeric paste:

Ayurvedic Turmeric Paste is a mix of simple yet mighty ingredients: turmeric powder, water, coconut oil, and cracked black pepper. Each component plays a crucial role in enhancing its health benefits:

    1. Turmeric: Turmeric is renowned for its active compound called curcumin. Curcumin possesses powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which may help combat chronic diseases, support joint health, boost immune function, and promote radiant skin.
    2. Water: Pure water acts as a medium to create the paste, ensuring proper consistency and ease of application.
    3. Coconut Oil: The healthy fats present in coconut oil aid in the absorption of curcumin, as it is a fat-soluble compound.
    4. Cracked Black Pepper: Including cracked black pepper in the paste enhances the bioavailability of curcumin, making it more readily absorbed by the body. This combination increases the efficacy of turmeric's health-promoting properties.

Ways to use Ayurvedic turmeric paste

Here are a few ideas for incorporating turmeric paste into recipes:

    1. Golden Milk Latte: Indulge in a soothing cup of golden milk by combining warm milk, Turmeric Paste, and a touch of sweetener.
    2. Turmeric Roasted Vegetables: Mix your favorite vegetables with Turmeric Paste and olive oil, then roast for a nutritious side dish.
    3. Turmeric Quinoa Salad: Enhance the nutritional profile of your quinoa salad by mixing in Turmeric Paste, fresh vegetables, herbs, and a zesty lemon dressing.
    4. Turmeric Ginger Tea: Brew a comforting cup of tea by infusing Turmeric Paste and freshly grated ginger in hot water. Sweeten it with honey or jaggery for a delightful flavor.
    5. Turmeric-Coconut Energy Balls: Make nutritious and energizing snacks by combining Turmeric Paste with rolled oats, almond butter, sunflower seeds, and shredded coconut.

    How to store

To maintain freshness and potency, proper storage is essential. Here are some guidelines:

    1. Refrigeration: Store Turmeric Paste in the refrigerator. The cool temperature helps preserve its quality and extend its shelf life.
    2. Airtight Container: Ensure that the jar used for storing the paste is airtight. This prevents air and moisture from entering, which can lead to spoilage.
    3. Shelf Life: Turmeric Paste can typically be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Always check for any signs of spoilage, such as mold or an off smell before use. If you notice any such indications, discard the paste.
    4. Freezer: Store Turmeric Paste in freezer cubes or sealed containers in the freezer for up to three months.

Remember, the color of the paste may intensify slightly over time, which is normal and does not indicate spoilage.
