Recipe Notes
Fresh turmeric option: If you can source fresh turmeric root, try adding 1 teaspoon of grated turmeric for an even brighter color and flavor.Choose your milk: If your chosen plant milk is already sweetened, you may wish to reduce the added sweetener. Cashew, rice, coconut, or oat milks all work well, or you could combine two different milks for a unique taste.Spice it up: If you’re used to stronger Indian spices, increase the spice quantities or experiment with additions such as nutmeg, fennel seed, or cardamom.Serve it cold: This beverage is equally delicious served chilled over ice - perfect for warmer days
