    Are all the recipes vegan?

    Yes, all of the recipes in this book are vegan.

    Are all of the recipes wholefood plant-based?

    Yes, all of the recipes are plant-based and almost everything is whole food plant-based. You will find a small amount of oil, tamari, tomato puree, and a few condiments used for cooking in some recipes.

    Are all the recipes gluten-free?

    Almost every recipe is gluten-free except for a couple of recipes that have pearl barley. I use soy sauce sometimes but that can be replaced by gluten-free tamari and some of the recipes contain oats so just make sure you use GF-certified oats if needed. The Japanese curry has flour in the roux, you may substitute it for a gluten-free flour blend.

    Do the recipes have nutrition facts included?

    Every recipe includes calories, carbohydrates, fats, protein, fiber, and mineral content. To access this nutritional data; please follow the link provided on the E-book to the recipe collection on my website.

    Do the recipes call for a lot of ingredients?

    Most are very simple and easy to make in 20-40 minutes or less. Some recipes have long ingredient lists but are still made with basic ingredients you most likely already have on hand.

    Will I get bored with these recipes?

    There is a large variety of meals from breakfasts to soups, curries, stews, drinks, noodles, salads, pizza, burgers, snacks, and sweets so I don't think so!

    Can I get all the nutrition I need through a plant-based lifestyle?

    The short answer is yes as long, as you get B12 from either a supplement, fortified foods, or both. The longer answer is yes but it does take effort, planning, and commitment to a balanced, wholefood plant-based lifestyle. This E-book is a good introduction to plant-based cooking. I have included lots of healthy grains, pulses, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds to provide different sources of protein, complex carbohydrates, fibers, fats, and minerals.

    Will I get enough protein?

    I train 4-5 days a week for 2 hours plus have an active lifestyle that includes running, walking, CrossFit, yoga, Muay Thai, and more. I’ve never struggled to maintain muscle mass and increase strength on a plant-based diet but you really need to look no further than the high-level athletes in sports from football to boxing, rugby to triathlon and you can see that athletes have no problem succeeding while eating plants.

    Can I get a printed version of this book?

    No, this is a digital eBook only. Some people like to print out their favorite recipes or have sections of the book printed and bound. You can easily print the PDF digital eBook if you prefer to have it in this form.
